I've had a dry cough for 5 days and absolutely no other symptomsIm going out tonite and i really need something to stop the crazy coughing thanks

i've had a bad cough all week and i'm going to my friend's house tommorow although not if i'm coughing which is exactly why i need to get rid of this FAST i've been drinking lot of lemon and honey drinks and cough medicine and it's slowly working but i need a quicker solutionplease help THANKS
